Dr. Monique Perez has provided General and Cosmetic Dental care to the community since 1996. She grew up in Pasadena, CA and attended Holy Angels elementary school in Arcadia, CA and graduated from Alverno High School in Sierra Madre, CA. Her aspiration to become a dentist began in high school through her passion for healthcare and the arts. As a senior in high school, she was accepted to ADAPT, an accelerated dental program at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1996.
Dr. Perez practiced as an associate dentist in Pasadena for several years, being able to focus on continuing education courses in Esthetics, Implants, and business management in order to be prepared for one day owning her own practice. She purchased her practice in 2009 which she has been affiliated with as an Associate as of 2003. This practice has been in existence since 1937 previously owned by Dr. J. Edwin Butters and Dr. John R. Thiel.
Dr Perez prides herself in providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for her patients of all ages to have a positive experience and quality outcome. Dr. Perez has a special passion for cosmetic dentistry in which she can give her patients the smile and self-confidence they deserve. She is committed to always staying abreast of the latest advancements in her field in order to provide the highest quality of care.
Dr. Perez believes in giving back to the community by supporting local schools and charitable organizations. She is an active professional member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, and the Pasadena Area Women’s Dental Study Group. In 2013, she was also voted by her colleagues as “one of Pasadena’s Top Dentists.”
Dr. Perez resides in Pasadena with her husband, Darren, and their daughter, Nicole.
